People often talk about working out to “look good” or “burn calories.” But for me, sport means so much more. It’s not just about appearance — it’s about how I feel in my body, my mind, and my everyday life.
Fitness isn’t a chore. It’s my safe space, my energy boost, and one of the ways I’ve learned to love and trust myself more deeply.
🧠 A breath of fresh air for the mind
Whenever I move my body, I feel lighter mentally. Whether it’s a quick home workout, a jog along the roads in Corsica, or just dancing alone in my room — exercise clears my head.
It helps me reset after a stressful day or when I feel overwhelmed with school or emotions. When my body moves, my thoughts get quieter. I feel present, grounded, and reconnected with myself.
💖 Learning to love my body
I’ve never chased perfection. Like many girls, I’ve had moments where I didn’t feel good in my own skin. But fitness helped me see my body differently — not as something to “fix,” but as something to support and celebrate.
Every workout reminds me that I’m strong, capable, and growing. Even on days when I mess up or feel weak — showing up for myself still counts.
Those small wins? They build my confidence way more than any number on a scale.
🌞 Pure energy, no filter
Working out gives me natural energy. Even when I’m tired or lazy, I know I’ll feel better afterwards. It’s like a healthy dose of motivation and lightness in my day.
And honestly? You don’t need a gym or a fancy setup. Sometimes just a walk by the sea or a few stretches in the morning make a huge difference.
🔄 A gentle routine that keeps me grounded
I don’t follow a strict fitness plan, but I try to move a little bit every day, depending on my mood and my nursing school schedule. It helps me stay centered and feel in tune with myself.
I’ve also learned to respect my limits — to rest when I need to, and to be proud of my progress, even if it’s slow.
✨ My little something extra
What I love most about fitness is that it reminds me that I’m always evolving. Not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
And that, to me, is my real “little something extra.”
