My name is Kalya, I’m 18, and if you landed here, you probably love the same kind of things I do: sunshine, soft style, good vibes, and being real.
I live in Corsica, this dreamy island where the sea meets the mountains. It’s where I recharge, shoot content, and feel most grounded. My mom is from here, all grace and strength. And my dad lives in Miami, where I go often. Two worlds, two energies, but both are part of who I am.
💬 That “little something extra”
People often ask me what the name of my blog means — Un petit truc en plus.
For me, it’s about a physical difference I was born with, something I still live with today. As a kid, it made me feel set apart. It wasn’t easy — kids can be mean, and I used to wish I could hide it.
But now? It’s part of my identity. It’s what taught me to accept myself fully, to see beauty in uniqueness, and to connect with others more gently.
It’s not a flaw — it’s my little something extra.
💖 The things I love most
Fashion is my love language — not just the clothes, but the stories they tell. A cropped hoodie, a beach wrap, a well-cut bikini… I feel like each outfit speaks to who we are that day.
I’m also passionate about photography. Morning light, ocean waves, unfiltered faces — I find beauty in the natural, the simple. Sometimes I shoot with friends, but mostly, I create alone, in silence.
Oh, and fun fact? I’m currently a nursing student. Yep — behind the camera and the Instagram posts, I’m studying hard. Because I believe in caring for others just as much as I care about style.

I love traveling — especially to the U.S. Miami feels like a second home: palm trees, heat, energy, freedom.
But honestly, I also treasure simple things: cooking something yummy with my mom, watching the sky change from my window, having deep talks with my closest friends.

I only started sharing on social media a few months ago, and I never expected to fall in love with it. But now it’s something I truly enjoy — being creative, honest, and connecting with people who see the world like I do.
